You've got mud on your face.

I was all by myself in my bathroom putting a clay mask on my
problem areas and then ................. I'm surrounded by boys asking
if they can put mud on their face. Thankfully they don't have
problem areas yet so we got creative.

"Some things never go out of style!"

This is Mike when he was 5yrs old in a sweater that his mother made him. Yesterday Mike's Mom gave the sweater to Noah who is 5yrs old. She was so excited to see this picture of Noah I took to compare with his Dad's picture. She said " Some things never go out of style!" ( I'm not sure it was ever in style. ) What a great family heirloom to pass down from generation to generation. :p (Just Kidding Mom!! I loved it)

1 Year Anniversary

We started out celebrating our anniversary at
a Moroccan restaurant called the Marrakech.
It was really interesting. First they come out
and wash your hands with rose water that smelled
really good! That was followed by a six course meal. the
food was really good, but I would rather have Thai food
any day.
Mike DRINKING! Just kidding. It's just peppermint tea.
I thought it looked like beer so I had to take a pic.
This is the inside of the restaurant. You feel like you are inside
a tent. When we called for a reservation they only had 5:30 and 9:00pm
open so of course we took the 5:30. Not a real popular time to eat
Moroccan.
This is the lovely belly dancer that so graciously spent
a lot of her time dancing in front of us. After a belly dance
lesson and ten minutes of not knowing where to look Mike tipped
her and she moved on. I wished I had a picture of that.
She wouldn't let him just hand her the money he had to
put it in her skirt. he he
After dinner at our room. This is what a 6 course meal
and a belly dancer will do to you.
This is our room at the Aliente Station. It was the nicest
hotel room either of us has every stayed in. Mike wants to
decorate our room at home like this.
It was way to cold to swim, but we were impressed with the pool.

Ghost Town

Can you read what the yellow snow spells? I was so
impressed Mike can spell his name I had to take a
picture. he he
We drove up the mountain as far as we could, but the
snow was too deep and the road was too steep. We were
trying to find Logan city, a ghost town that Mike found on a map Everybody had a hard time staying upright
in the snow. Here is Will back pedaling to stay
standing
I love this picture because you can see Sarah
tripping in the background.
What good brothers! Matthew and Hunter
are helping Sarah up after a fall.
Hunter and Will throwing snowballs
Channer found a sunny spot to dry his buns.

We didn't end up finding the ghost town, but we are going
to try again when the snow melts.
